KISTERS' Users Group meeting shatters past attendance records.

Attendance at the 2013 User Group Meeting for KISTERS North America continues to underscore the importance of efficient and effective water data management for myriad key organizations throughout Canada and the United States.

This year's event marked the highest attendance on record.

More significantly presentations by clients and KISTERS' professional staff impressed upon the audience best practices in managing hydrologic data sets and using data to support decisions about complex systems. Audience members cite sharing experiences and insights as a leading motivator in year-over-year participation.

We wish to acknowledge our featured presenters -- Dr. David Maidment of the University of Texas at Austin, and Kristin Tolle of Microsoft Research -- for equally informative and engaging presentations on the future of water data in the cloud. KISTERS is developing technology that is well positioned to take advantage of these benefits, and we are excited about how they will benefit our clients.
