KISTERS onboard launch of smart water alliance

September 16, 2016

KISTERS joins SWAN North America, now launching at WEFTEC.

KISTERS supports the launch of a new North American alliance of Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN) during WEFTEC, the world’s largest annual water quality exhibition.

The peer and utility industry partnership-driven initiative seeks to improve efficiency in water distribution systems by using sensors and software to provide better data and analytics as the Internet of Things (IoT) emerges.

Establishing a sustainable water supply and maintaining high standards of water quality are critical objectives of most North American cities, public agencies and conservancy groups who rely on KISTERS and its environmental IT solutions.

Visit Booth #3701 as KISTERS co-exhibits with Esri. WEFTEC convenes in New Orleans, LA 24-28 Sept. 2016.

Other initial alliance partners include 3M, Bentley, Bluefield Research, CH2M, DC Water, Echologics, EMA, Eramosa, EPA, FATHOM, Frost and Sullivan, GE, Global Water Technologies, Global Water Works, Gutermann, Hach, Las Vegas Valley Water District, Optiqua, Qualcomm, S::can, Schneider Electric, Seattle Water, Sensus, Sierra Wireless, SmartCover Systems, Smart Utility Systems, Syrinix, TaKaDu, Trimble and Xylem.
