Client satisfaction is very important to us. Evaluations by our clients focus on three elements –- qualified employees, results-oriented work, and quality software -- in regards to functionality, compliance with industrial standards, specialized requirements, and dedication to the highest level of customer support and service.
Our international market leadership cannot be accomplished without close cooperation with our clients and understanding their needs as they evolve over time.
Since 2002 the KISTERS environmental IT department has possessed a certified quality management system. We are certified according to the international norm DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Our commitment to continuous improvement through rigorous auditing processes makes us a sought-after strategic partner worldwide. KISTERS is proud to collaborate with the following partners:
- Esri Inc. is a long-term strategic partner in the development of solutions that integrate time- and space-related data. It is becoming increasingly important to know which parameters have changed as well as when and where. Together we make it possible to follow extreme events in time and space, which in turn increases the response time of those potentially affected – time that is critically needed to take protective measures and get people to safety.
- Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is an international industrial organization that brings together 450 businesses, authorities and universities to develop open interface standards. With a lead role in the Hydrology Domain Working Group, KISTERS helped to develop modern standards such as WaterML2 to support interoperability of water data. It is a recognized leader in the development of open standards for water data exchange. Its cooperation with KISTERS has brought to market invaluable capabilities like web interoperability solutions, underscoring the importance of information sharing.
- Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science (CUAHSI) is a research organization representing more than 130 U.S. universities and international organizations focused on water sciences. While CUAHSI receives support from the National Science Foundation, corporate members like KISTERS help future generations of scientists innovate and refine community modeling, data science and hydrologic education.
